Marija Mitic ist eine interdisziplinäre Forscherin und Tanz- und Bewegungstherapeutin, die an den Schnittstellen von psychischer Gesundheit, soziokulturellen Beziehungen, ökologischen und lebensgeschichtlichen Übergängen, Embodiment und Kreativität arbeitet. Sie hat über Peer-Beziehungen, den Übergang in die Mittelschule, soziale Online- und Face-to-Face-Interventionen, partizipative Methoden und Verlust/Trauma bei Migrantinnen veröffentlicht.

Ihr aktueller Forschungsschwerpunkt im Rahmen des ERASMUS+-Projekts Ment4EU liegt auf Mentoring für soziale Inklusion. Neben der Forschung umfasst Marijas Rolle an der Bertha von Suttner Privatuniversität auch Projektmanagement und Lehre. 

Marija hat umfangreiche Erfahrung mit gemischten Forschungsmethoden, insbesondere mit qualitativen Methoden. Ihre Leidenschaft ist das Experimentieren mit kunstbasierten und partizipatorischen Methoden als Werkzeuge für sozialen Wandel und Innovation.

Marija Mitic is an interdisciplinary researcher and a dance movement therapist working at the intersections of mental health, socio-cultural relationships, ecological and life transitions, embodiment, and creativity. She has published on peer relationships, middle school transition, online and face-to-face social interventions, participatory methods, and loss/trauma among migrant women.

Her current research focus within the ERASMUS+ project Ment4EU is on mentoring for social inclusion. In addition to research, Marija’s role at Bertha von Suttner Private University includes project management and teaching. 

Marija has extensive experience with mixed methods research, particularly qualitative methods. Her passion involves experimenting with arts-based and participatory methods as tools for social change and innovation.
