texts | The Fulbright Specialist Project “Capacity Building in Participatory Action Research” is an effort of Bertha von Suttner Private University (Austria) to develop a distinguished line of study and practice: trainings in participatory methodologies, and community development. The new FPS pursues three goals in the academic year 2022-23: (1) develop and implement innovative curricula in “Participatory Action Research” training, (2) foster partnerships for sustainable cooperation in “Participatory Action Research” training delivery, and (3) propose viable avenues for the development of transnational trainings in “Participatory Action Research”. This FSP is a successful first step to establish working relationships with the Fulbright Commission. Dr. Eberhard Raithelhuber, Professor for Social Intervention and Transformation, serves as primary point of contact at Suttneruni. The FSP build on an earlier, successful FSP cooperation with Dr. Corey Dolgon, Professor of Sociology (MA, USA), who was reappointed Fulbright Specialist. |
